MCHS operates the Carl Nettifee Memorial Animal Shelter. The shelter is the county impound facility, and also houses surrendered animals as space allows. MCHS not only cares for the animals, but also finds them new forever homes. As a service to the public, we also provide educational tours and volunteer opportunities.
